Challenge: Subway wanted to create a site that would promote their “My Sub My Way” campaign through the well-known personalities of two prominent college football coaches. Visitors would use the interactive builder to create their ideal sandwich, and each ingredient would be tied to humorous personality traits. Once completed, the site would provide a ‘sandwich personality profile’ which could be shared socially, as well as provide personal info to receive a coupon.
Solution: We consulted with the agency from day one and created a methodology for gameplay that involved a complex matrix of personality traits. We provided a complete end-to-end solution, including user experience, all server-side programming, data collection for sharing and auto-generating HTML emails and coupons. We also provided a solution for matching the clients request that the sandwiches be built in a fashion that matched their real world guidelines, depite the user’s ability to create their sandwich in a non-linear way . The end result was fantastic engagement, a Gold Addy award, and one ver y happy client.
